Rincon, Georgia, turned out for No Kings Rincon on October 18, 2025. A total of 88 people attended the rally! Some came late and some left early, but kudos to everyone who showed up for democracy in America for however long they were able.
We didn't let the MAGA hooligans across the road bother us. Or the motorcycle gang that drove through the parking lot. Or the unexpected drone that flew over us.
When we surveyed participants at the event and after, the main response we heard was, "I didn't know there were so many like-minded people in Rincon!"
This is cause for hope. There are plenty of sensible Rincon residents who see that Trump is overstepping his authority as president. You see him reaching for kingly powers by ruling via executive orders, holding the GOP hostage with his threats, and ignoring the judiciary's legitimate powers.
We were fortunate to have three of the five non-MAGA candidates running in the primary next May for the House seat for Georgia's First Congressional District attend No Kings Rincon. We know the other two were with us in spirit, though at other rallies.
You can find out more about these candidates by watching their videos on the Candidate Voices playlist on 50501 Savannah's YouTube Channel or at their websites:
It's so encouraging to see these candidates showing up for rural Georgia! Rincon, your voice matters!
